Essentials Day Event in Minlaton - Jan 2026

The Essential events occur around the regions, and they give the community an opportunity to connect with many different service providers, that provide a variety of different services within their area.

Our Care Partners Lauren and Simone attended, and their highlights were:

– Experiencing a great opportunity to meet with other local suppliers of services/products that assist our clients.

– Meeting Country Home Services clients from different areas in the Yorke Peninsula CHS client, where they were able to ask questions regarding their care and support needs.

– Provided extensive support to a lady attending the event whose husband is living with Dementia. She presented with a large volume of paperwork and expressed feeling overwhelmed by the complexity of navigating the aged care system. I was able to explain their purpose, and outlining clear next steps required to access in-home support services. She began to feel more confident and informed moving forward. Following this, I introduced her to relevant service agencies at the event that may offer further assistance, including Dementia Care, Centrelink, and Carers and Disability Link.

– Overall, it was an excellent and valued event to attend, especially as we were able to assist local community people.
