About Us
Improving the lives of Country People through support, connection, inclusion and advocacy.

At Country Home Services:
- We’re honoured that we’ve been working in the countries of the Nharangga, Kaurna, Ngadjuri, and Peramangk people since 1989. We respect their unceasing connection to their lands, waters, and skies, and we acknowledge their sovereignty. Always was, always will be.
- We understand – we know how important it is to stay independent and keep connected as we get older.
- We respect clients’ rights and choices – we support with flexible, high-quality in-home services delivered by compassionate staff and contractors.
- We’re local – we know that in the country, we work together to get things done. We aim to enable other community organisations through partnerships and small grants.
- Our services are available in the Yorke Peninsula, Copper Coast, Barunga West, Wakefield Plains, Clare and Gilbert Valley, Goyder, Light, Barossa Valley, Gawler Regions & Adelaide Plains.

Kylie Williams
Angela is our Chairperson and she brings to our organisation valuable skills as she has had both personal and professional experience providing home-based care for elderly people. Angela has a Master of Nursing and a Postgraduate qualification in Health Services Management and Aged Care. She lives near Mallala, which also gives her an understanding of providing services in the country, and she is committed to seeing Country Home Services provide quality care and services in the community.
Greg was born and raised in Whyalla and always had an affinity with country SA.
He practiced as a solicitor in his own business for 45 years on the West Coast and in the Clare Valley. Greg joined the Board 7 years ago and has enjoyed contributing to the management and growth of CHS.
“ I believe that CHS is in very safe hands guided by Ashley and his outstanding team.”
In the past 30 years, Kylie Williams has worked in country South Australia in health and not-for-profit organisations.
Kylie has held many leadership positions within country health services and is currently employed by Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. Kylie is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Nona Burden
Ken Watt
After many years working as a solicitor, Nona switched careers to become a professional Visual Artist and Art School Lecturer. She moved from Adelaide to the Clare Valley six years ago and now teaches oil painting from her Auburn based studio. She has been an active community member and feels that the elderly more than deserve the right to make their own lifestyle choices.
Ken’s background has been in the construction industry for over 60 years, along with owning and operating three motels. He has been the first chairman of a national accommodation group and has served on several committees. Ken is local to Gawler and with his wife being a Country Home Services customer, he has a key understanding of how our organisation works and therefore brings a valuable view point.
