The Types of Services we Provide
At Country Home Services we provide three types of services:
- The Commonwealth Home Support Program
- Home Care Packages
- Veterans Home Care
Enhanced Quality of Life
Country Home Services aim to improve overall well-being by addressing physical, emotional, and social needs, leading to a higher quality of life for our clients.
Eligibility
All three programs are government subsidised for eligible people. Commonwealth Home Support Program and Home Care Package is available for people who are 65 years or older, or 50 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people. Assessment is required to see if you are eligible.
Our services are available in the local council districts of
Yorke Peninsula, Copper Coast, Barunga West, Wakefield Plains, Clare and Gilbert Valley, Goyder, Light, Barossa Valley, Gawler & Adelaide Plains
Commonwealth Home Support Program
The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) is a government initiative designed to provide basic assistance around the home, at a subsidised cost to you.
Eligible clients will have access to a wide range of services including:
- Cleaning
- Home and Garden Maintenance
- Personal Care
- Social Support
- Home Modifications

Home Care Packages
If you require more assistance a Home Care Package might be the right option for you. We work with you to design and tailor your package to meet your individual goals and preferences.

Veterans Home Care
The Veterans Home Care program was designed to support you to retain your independence and health in the comfort of your own home.
The VHC service includes:
- Cleaning
- Personal Care
- Safety-related home and garden maintenance
This service is provided to eligible Veterans, with a Veteran Gold or White Care.
Our Services
Within our programs, we offer a range of services such as:
Home and Garden Maintenance
Assistance to keep your home and garden safe. This could include gutter cleaning, yard clean ups, mowing your lawns, changing smoke alarm batteries or replacing lightbulbs.
Personal Care
There may be times you need assistance with activities such as showering or dressing.
Cleaning
Whether you need help with house cleaning, hanging out washing, bed making, mopping, and vacuuming floors, we’ll work alongside you to get the tasks done.
Social Support
Need assistance with grocery shopping, bill paying, getting to appointments, or an outing to support your wellbeing? We aim to support your experience.
