Programs
How we provide Aged Care Services
At Country Home Services we provide aged care services through three types of programs:
- The Commonwealth Home Support Program
- Support at Home
- Veterans Home Care
Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
The CHSP provides small amounts of entry-level support to assist older people. Services may be short-term, intermittent or ongoing.
Support at Home
The Support at Home Program on the 1st of July 2025, is taking over from Home Care Packages. It will ensure improved access to services, equipment and home modifications to help older people remain healthy, active and socially connected to their community.
Veterans Home Care (VHC)
The Veterans’ Home Care (VHC) program gives veterans and their dependents help at home. The VHC program is a low level care program.
The VHC service includes:
- Cleaning
- Personal Care
- Safety-related home and garden maintenance
