Home care packages are uniquely designed to provide clients with a comprehensive level of care to maintain independence and safety at home.

Home Care Package were created for Australians who need care services at home whose needs are more complex and are outside the eligibility requirements for the Commonwealth Home Support Program.

Assistance to keep your home and garden safe. This could include gutter cleaning, yard clean ups, mowing your lawns, changing smoke alarm batteries or replacing lightbulbs.

There may be times you need assistance with activities such as showering or dressing.

Whether you need help with house cleaning, hanging out washing, bed making, mopping, and vacuuming floors, we’ll work alongside you to get the tasks done.

Need assistance with grocery shopping, bill paying, getting to appointments, or connecting with your local community group?

Am I eligible

An assessment is required to check if you are eligible for a Home Care Package. This is conducted by the Aged Care Assessment Team. If you want to know more about this, contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or visit their webpage at https://www.myagedcare.gov.au/

How do I apply?

There are two ways to apply for a Home Care Package:

Once your eligibility is determined, you may be referred for a home support assessment. An Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assessor will contact you to arrange this.

Online application form

Alternatively, you can complete the My Aged Care online application form, which will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Home Care Package Costs

Our home care packages are government funded to ensure you can receive the best quality of care at an affordable rate. Please review our schedule of fees here.

If your circumstances improve while you are waiting, you can opt out of this process at any time. Your referral will remain valid until your needs change.
