  • Helping with home maintenance, like tidying the garden or cleaning gutters
  • Connect clients with social activities and support to access things in the community like shops
  • Help with personal care such as bathing and dressing

If you have up-to-date Covid-19 vaccinations, a mobile phone, email address, and want to make a difference, give us a call on 1300 773 202.

Here are a few words from our contractors:

‘I can choose to work the time I want. It’s flexible which I like, and the customers are also flexible, If I can’t make a service or if the customer is not available, we make a time that is right for both parties.’
‘I like working as a contractor for Country Home Services because they are always very helpful. I find them very approachable if I have any questions about my clients.’
‘Enjoy the work and being able to choose my working hours.’
‘I moved to provide aged care as an area of need. I prefer providing more individualised services to clients in their own homes compared to the structure of residential care. I like the flexibility to reschedule my clients as necessary directly with them.’
‘It gives the elderly and many others, services that can assist to support them. Enabling them to remain in their own homes longer. For me it is also the people contact, the characters you meet, the sharing of a laugh or two. It is not just work for me, it is the care factor and then assisting.’
‘I enjoy helping good people in need.’
‘I love working with the elderly and through providing social support services I get to take them not just for day-to-day appointments but to go for an outing that they really enjoy.’
‘I also work with 2 other Agencies and a small amount of irregular private work, also employment with an aged care Residency. I enjoy the variety of work via the differing organisations.’
Contracting in Aged Care

So who are we?

We are an organisation that really cares for our clients and also the country communities that they live in.

Our Service Delivery Model

Country Home Services (CHS) deliver services in partnership with independent contractors. Independent Contractors run their own businesses and can choose where and when they work.
If you have never run your own business before, call us to have a chat. We can help you learn about how contracting works with CHS.

Here is how our service delivery model works:

1

Referrals Received

Referrals are received by CHS from My Aged Care or Veterans Home Care.

2

Type of Service

A client may have a recurring service, or it may be a once off service.

3

Tendering for the service

CHS offers all contractors the service. Then contractors tender for the service or the client may request a specific contractor.

4

Connecting

The Client and the Contractor are then connected by CHS.

5

Organise the Service

The Client and contractor then discuss a time, day and the type of service.

6

Excellent service

The contractor provides an excellent service and the client is happy

Our contractors love what they do.
They work the hours that suit their lifestyle, while they support our clients within their country community.
