This year our plan was to build a stronger connection with our local communities across our region, and to start this process we launched 3 Open Days in Nuriootpa in February, Clare In March and Kadina in April. These open days provided an opportunity for people to learn about the Aged Care process, have their questions answered, find out how Country Home Services can help them on their journey and book for a one on one session to have their personal concerns discussed if required.
Over the last couple of years it has been clear, that when it comes to Aged care services there is so much information out there that we were finding people were often getting overwhelmed and confused at times. In planning these open days, it gave Country Home Services the opportunity to share our knowledge and to connect with our local communities in these regions as we have done so for the past 30 years.
The feedback has been fantastic as it was a relief to many who attended to have their questions answered. Later in the year we plan to visit more towns across our region and provide more of our community with the same opportunity.
